Choosing Wisely Canada National Conference 2021: Call for Abstracts until Feb. 1, 2021

Choosing Wisely Canada’s National Meeting for 2021 is a two-day virtual event, scheduled for May 12 & 13.   On these dates, we invite you to join the Choosing Wisely Canada community for this sixth annual, national conference in collaboration with the Canadian Medical Association.

This national meeting will offer engaging keynote speakers and breakout sessions. There will also be plenty of opportunities to network with peers from across the country to discuss and engage on topics related to reducing unnecessary tests and treatments.

At the 2021 National Meeting participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Engage with the Choosing Wisely community in an energized exchange of ideas on overuse
  • Hear about practical and implementable strategies for reducing overuse, and understand their impact
  • Network with colleagues who share your passion

Call For Abstracts:  The call for abstracts is now open until February 1, 2021. Selected abstracts will be considered for online presentations in breakout sessions and included in a digital abstract book.

We encourage the submission of abstracts related to Choosing Wisely initiatives which are incorporating any of the following: medical education, quality improvement projects/implementation, patient engagement, and measurement and evaluation.  Please click on the link below for further information.
