Guest speaker

Michelle Schmalenberg, Executive Director of Strategy and Innovation with the Saskatchewan Health Authority

Session description

The healthcare system in Saskatchewan is undergoing major transformation change.  In 2017, 12 regional health authorities amalgamated in a single provincial health authority – the Saskatchewan Health Authority.  The SHA is now the largest organization in Saskatchewan employing over 40,000 providers and staff, and over 2000 physicians.  Aligning an organization of this magnitude to a common vision is not an easy task.   Storytelling and the use of the 4P’s of Change (Picture, Purpose, Plan, Part) are two leadership tools that are proving to be successful in creating momentum as we work together to improve our health and well-being.  Every day.  For everyone.

In this webinar you will:

  • Learn the effectiveness of storytelling as a leadership skill
  • See the 4Ps in action and reflect on how you might use them in your workplace
  • Hear the SHA story and see the storyboard
